In 1993, the following steps were taken to establish the Computer Society of Iran:

1- In June, 1993, during the meetings with the participation of some of the students at Tehran University, Amirkabir University of Technology and Sharif University of Technology, discussed the need for an association to be discussed in detail and in view of the increasing spread of culture, information, informatics and computer applications. They concluded that the establishment of this association in the country is absolutely necessary.

2- At the end of the meetings, a committee called the Temporary Follow-up Committee was selected by the attendees to follow-up and coordinate.

3. The Provisional Follow-up Committee sent a letter of invitation to more than 150 experts from across the country in July 1993 to participate in the gathering to discuss and select the founding board. On 10/06/1372, this gathering was attended by about 50 invitees at the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology at Building No. 1, and decided on the association's goals and the choice of the association's name and the selection of the founding board by written vote.

4. The founder's board, after being elected during the next sessions, by studying the constitutions of various associations and focusing on the proposed statute of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, ratified the Association's Articles of Association and finalized the Founding Board, and in July 1994 the first General Assembly was held and the Board of Directors of the Selection Board It turned out
