Symposium on Computer Networks and Distributed Systems (CNDS) 2013

Call for Papers

The Computer Society of Iran (CSI) and Sharif University of Technology (SUT) are proud to announce that the 2013 International Symposium on Computer Networks and Distributed Systems (CNDS2013) will be held on December 25–26, 2013 in the Department of Computer Engineering, Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran.

CNDS2013 is a premier computer science and engineering event that brings together industry professionals and academics to exchange information on recent advances in data communications, wireless networks and distributed systems. The technical program of CNDS2013 includes tutorials, invited keynotes, paper presentations, and panel discussions. Submissions of high-quality papers are invited.

Submissions

Regular Papers: Authors are invited to submit a full paper in English for review. Only original papers that have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere will be considered.

Tutorials and Special Sessions: The organizing committee invites proposals for tutorials and special sessions to be held in conjunction with the Symposium. These will focus on specific topics of the main Symposium.

Topics of interest for submission include, but are not limited to:

  • Multimedia Networks and Systems
  • Mobile Communications and Networks
  • Next Generation Networks
  • Cognitive Networks
  • Distributed and Network Based Cyber Attacks and Defense
  • Wireless, Ad hoc, and Sensor Networks
  • Modeling and Evaluation of Communication Networks

Prospective authors are invited to submit a full paper in English for review. Only original papers that have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere will be considered. The submission process is carried through the Symposium web site (http://csi.org.ir/en/conf/cnds2013). Manuscripts must follow the LNCS (single-column) format. The maximum allowed paper length is ten (10) pages. Submission of a regular paper implies that at least one of the authors will register in the Symposium and present the paper upon acceptance.

Accepted papers will be published in a post-proceeding printed by Springer (pending approval).
